http:// www.air tran.co m/Home. aspx
(Southwest Airlines also fly the route but now that Airtran is part of Southwest, either website will probably bring up flights under both names).
http:// www.del ta.com/
https:/ /www.un ited.co m/web/e n-US/de fault.a spx
(from 1st April)
Travellers to San Francisco sometimes find it more convenient to fly into San Jose (operated by Delta from Atlanta) or Oakland (currently no direct flights).
Given that United and Delta are normally regarded as 'full fare' airlines, AirTran may well prove to be your best option.

Here in the U.S. (as with most of the world) air carriers enjoy dominance at their home base. In this case, Delta Airlines is based in Atlanta, so the most frequent flights as well as the most attractive fares will be with Delta. (No airlines use SFO as a home base other than United that has a maintenance base there).
Problem is, if you are only going one way, you'll pay a premium for the the fare. A quick check found that you could go round trip on that route for about $362 (US) but one way is $303 (all depending on day of week and time of day, of course)...
