Gun crime has been rising for ages.

 

I recall when it was so unusual it'd likely be headline news in the national papers. Nowadays it'll be an inch on an inside page if it makes it there at all.

 

Too many incomers bringing their firearm culture with them and acting as catalyst to the rest.

We need to concentrate on our own country not look elsewhere for excuses.
