Stifling the urge to post a facetious answer, I have seen the term "Leicesterians" used, but I've no idea if that's how they refer to themselves.

I believe quite a few are called Dave.
Unlike Glasgow with its Glaswegians, and Manchester with its Mancunians, some places just don't have a singular term for their citizens.
It may well be that people from Leicester are simply called 'people from Leicester'.
Shame.
i went to university in leicester and my mates from home would often refer to me as a leicesterfarian!

seriously, i have heard the term leicesterians not sure if its a real term though!
Sorry to sound abit prim, but us folk from Leicester are quite proud of our richly mixed community and, for the record, the Indian population is overwhelmingly Hindu (not Muslims NORMANTHEDOG... yawn).
