Altinkum - Turkey

Hi,

Has anybody been to Altinkum in Turkey. We are a 32yr old married couple. Will this resort suit us?? We like to let our hair down and relax by the pool during the day.

Any advice/reviews would be greatly appreciated

just got back from altinkum 26/6.after 2 weeks.
me personally found it a dump.
we stayed at the garden of sun hotel all inclusive.never again.
altinkum is half built,very rural,unclean,dusty.
all bars,restaurants are competing with each other,to me it seems very cramped.
nothing to see or look at,only if you go to the temple of apollo,great ruins,1 lira on the bus.
we went to kusadasi what a breath of fresh air,it is beautiful.
if it wasn`t for meeting some great people over there our holiday would have been awful.

Sorry to hear you had a rough time..... The wife's cousin lives there so we have to stay there.... thanks for the advice though... much appreciated.
