NYC restaurants- Xmas dinner!

Please help, Im going to NYC for Xmas, where will I get a decent Xmas dinner?? I have been before but that was in the summer. The hotel restaurant is a no-go as it is some posh French job and Im not really into all that.

long ago I had one in the restaurant at the bottom of the Rockefeller Centre, by the skating rink; it wasn't expensive and I didn't book till the day before. I have no idea if this is still possible, though.

You could try The View - the revolving restaurant above the Marriot in Times Square. Don't actually know if they are open for Christmas Dinner - but you could always ask.
