I am hoping to visit the Black Forest Germany soon. I would like to take a small self catering chalet or similar in a typical Black Forest location so that I can walk in the forest. It must be near a small village for provisions, but I would also like a larger town or city close by so that I can see the architecture dine, drink etc. Does anyone have any ideas please? The more 'chocolate boxy' the better. Thank you
