Please recommend a new place to holiday.

Hi there.. We stayed at the Cordial Mogan Valle in Gran Canaria last year and loved it, but we like to try new places. Please can anyone recommend a new place for us to holiday which meets the criteria below. (We have a 2 year old and a baby)

1. One or two apartment with large balcony (that is open, safe and gets the sun).

2. On a resort or complex that is child friendly and activities and entertainment.

3. Walking distance to restaurants etc

4. Walking distance to nice beach.

5. Prefer self-catering, but wouldn’t mind all-inclusive if the selection of food is good as we are veggies).

6. 2-4 hour flight from uk... dont mind where. spain, canarys, balerics etc

Please help with our mission impossible!! Thank you x

Menorca is lovely, not as commercial as the other Balearics, superb beaches.

Ca la dor Hotel, Port a Rico Gran Canaria, 5 mins from the Shopping. restaurants, Linekers bar. the only problem from the Hotel to the said area there are 100 steps, good exercise though lol

We stayed at the Rosamar apartment in San Antonio Bay Ibiza which is quieter that San Antonio itself and had lots of nice restaurants around within walking distance. The staff were really friendly and the hotel was quiet small so you got a chance to meet other people. it wasn't far from the beach. Ok I never went as a family just some friends but think this was the best holiday ever.

Italy. We've just got back from Cattolica which is near Rimini on the Adriatic coast. I think you'll find most of the hotels are half board (breakfast and evening meal). It is very child friendly. You have to pay to go on the beach, but the facilities are fantastic with childrens play area, pool, gym, boules, table tennis etc all available on the beach. We stayed at the Hotel Senior who are VERY accommodating. And of course Italians love children. It is very much a family resort,

if you dont mind the lack of beaches malta's the place!!
lovely people, sunny,2 and half hour flight,speak english all over the island, if i could i would move there tomorrow!! love it there
