However Dublin's attractions are quite well spread out and those buses are by far the easiest way to see the sights:

The Guinness Storehouse is worth a visit, even if it's only to enjoy the great views from the Gravity Bar (while supping your complementary glass of Guinness)at the top!

Temple Bar is, of course, 'where it all happens':

It's also where you'll find my favourite place to eat in Dublin:

Yes, that's a definite recommendation from me. The only problem I've had when visiting there has been trying to decide whether to have a boxty (which seems to be almost obligatory in a boxty house - and they're lovely as well !) or one of the inviting daily specials on the blackboard ;-)
I've previously recommended Gallagher's Boxty House to another ABer (Filthiestfis) and he now tends to pop up on threads like this one, recommending the same place. So it's not just me that likes it!

Boxtyhouse is fab definately worth going there. I recommend the bus tour as well, we landed lucky when we went as our ticket was only supposed to be for 1 day but the ticket machine on the bus wouldn't register it so they just let us on, so we used it for 2 days. The Kimainham Jail is worth a visit as well if you go to the guinness storehouse on the bus it is worth getting back on the bus and going there as well. The Arlington hotel on the riverside also does a riverdance type show everynight and you can book a meal and show as one. Beware though Dublin is really expensive!
the boxty house is excellent - I am going back to dublin next year and will definitely go there. Also recommend a visit to kilmainham gaol - my friend had recommended I go there and to be honest was not keen and could not believe how enthusiatically she was speaking about it. Anyway it was excellent, the man who conducted the tour was so full of knowledge and it was really interesting, i would recommend it. The bus tour stops there. I did not really enjoy the guinness tour to be honest.
