Honeymoon in Late July early August

We are taking our Honeymoon right after our wedding on July 23 2010. Where is a good spot to go? We have been told that St. Lucia would be nice even with the Huricane season in play.....Any suggestions?

I've been to St. Lucia and they do get a fair bit of rain, even out of rainy season.

The Bahamas and the Turks & Caicos Islands get far less rainfall.

Many people do not know that during our summer, it is the rainy season in both the Caribbean and the Far East. And they don’t call it the rainy season for nothing – you soon realise why the countryside is so lush and green. For guaranteed sunshine, I would recommend somewhere (anywhere*) in the Mediterranean.
Put the travel cost savings towards better accommodation – and enjoy relaxing days & nights in the hotel.

* but not Cyprus, it’s too hot in July and August.

My friends are away to Hawaii on their honeymoon, they are combining it with a few days in New York on the way out and a few in Vegas on the way back
