Etihad Airlines
5 Answers
Can anyone tell me if Etihad airlines are ok to use? Like the price and what it says is offered but reading customer reviews for this year sounded quite worrying.Don't know how much notice I should take and only those who submit reviews are negative ones.Just wondered what other users thought.
I would be flying ecomomy...Manchester...Abu Dhabi....Melbourne.
Thanks for any comments.

It may be that Arab airlines can be cheaper because the fuel comes 'straight out of the ground', as it were, in their region. I flew first class on Kuwait's airline, which was excellent and very cheap, but that may also have been because the flight had no alcohol; can't see many CEOs and the like wanting a dry flight to New York!
Haven't hears any bad reports of this one. Maybe the critics are Manchester United fans!

I have traveled on Etihad Airways twice now and never again! The seats are very cramped and made even worse by the footrest. I was in an aisle seat knocked by the trolleys. The food is edible and on one options had the choice of ice cream or noodles in a pot of hot water. The toilets were filthy. The staff was pleasant but very slow. The food trays were not collected for at least an hour after the meal so they were left all over the floor. The woman next to me had to ask a number of times for baby food and when, I asked for a drink of water were told to wait, as dinner would be served shortly.
Hi aglieneve. I'm not sure how you stumbled across this question and decided to join AB , but welcome.
Your comments about cramped seats could apply to most airlines in my view. I found the flight to Dubai to be excellent- more leg room than usual and I had in flight entertainment which is more than I had on my last two European flights.
I would recommend Etihad and the other Arab airlines.

I once flew on PIA [ a freebie otherwise I would not have] Dubai/London/Dubai and to my surprise the food was spicy bit quite edible and the steward said if you have alcohol from duty free I will bring you ice and a mixer, so I did just that, seats were okay too.
In those days living in Dubai I did quite a lot of travelling and the very worst of all was BA.
