Can anyone tell me what the best train station is to get off at from the south east. Would it be victoria? Many thanks

If you are coming by train Victoria is nearest - just walk (or get a bus) down Vauxhall Bridge Road.

Using the tube Pimlico is slightly closer but there isn't much in it

Go to http://www.streetmap.co.uk/ and use the London street option
