Cheap flight to Reykjavik?

Hello, i'm looking to meet up with one of my friends who lives in Iceland. I've been looking at flights from London to Reykjavik in July but the cheapest one I can find is �236 return with Iceland express. Can anyone suggest a cheaper place to find one?

Unless Icelandair have an offer, then no. Icelandexpress are Iceland's Ryanair so you won't get much cheaper.

Glasgow might be a bit cheaper - but then you've got to get there.

Have a look at German Wings - you would have to go via Germany but there may be some very cheap fares left if you are quick and lucky. But if not then the total may not offer much against the longer travel time.

If you don't mind an indirect flight, then tick that box on any site and you may well get some cheaper options, although the flight will obviously be longer and you'll have some time hanging around a foreign airport
