Has anyone travelled from Singapore to Bangkok by Train? I was hoping i could then travel from Bangkok to Ho Chi Minh City by train. If so any details would be great.

Thank you.
Hopefully it will be a way of seeing a bit of the country.

Singapore to Bangkok is relatively easy - you can throw money at it with the through, luxury Orient-Express style service. Or you can you use regular trains - first to KL, then through Butterworth to the Thai border where i think you still have to change trains at Hat Yai.

If you,ve had enough by KL - overnight or all day from SIN, you could get Air Asia for the rest of the journey!

Thanks.

I'll check out the Orient Xpress, seems the way to go.

Have you travelled this way?
