Can anyone tell me the best way to get from the O2 arena to National Martime Museum and back again.
We have a young child and it's too far to walk and it doesn't look like there is a tube link ( the jubilee line goes the other way). Thanks
Alternatively, as Dundurn suggests, take the boat. It's a commuter service, so it's not as expensive as the tourist boats. QEII Pier is alongside the O2. Greenwich Pier is just 8 minutes away, with the National Maritime Museum very close by.
For a bit of extra fun how about going by boat. You can get to the O2 from central London (landing stage at the London Eye) on Thames Clippers and I think their stopper service lands at Greenwich as well.
Walk to North Greenwich Station. (No more than 10 minutes stroll).
Take bus number 188. (Buses run every 8 minutes. North Greenwich station is the terminus, so you don't need to worry about which direction the bus is travelling).
Alight at the Trafalgar Estate stop. (Simply tell the driver that you want the stop for the National Maritime Museum. Scheduled journey time 19 minutes maximum, often a bit quicker).
