International shop around and also check the web, you may get good deals for internals if you fly with either qantas or virgin both internaional and domestic or you may not, you need to do some home work.

If theres no package deals to get good discounts by using the same airline book them seperatly, a good site for domestic travel in Oz is web jet it compare all options.

hope that helps

Decide where you want to go and research it - obviously wherever your son is is covered but Aussie is huge and you need to be selective. I spent three months there and only scratched the surface, Perth, Snowy Mountains, Sydney, drove the eastern coast road to Cairns, learnt to scuba dive on the GBR, abseiled and rode camels! Really, do some homework - it really is a very big place! ps - have fun
Don't go !!...it is full of Australians !!!
