I miss my grandson a lot when we are away, Christmas was a bit of a "will I , won't I" but as my daughter said, after about 4 hrs Xmas morning, then dinner, it does go a bit flat

Yep, I totally agree with you. Christmas afternoons are made for having a little snooze on the sofa!
I'm going away for the first time this year (first time at Crimbo) not so sure I've made the right decision now though. Sunshine and sangria will feel a bit odd come Christmas Eve, I think!

it does flip. we were lying on the beach last NYE, felt so odd..lol
and went for Xmas dinner in 30 degrees heat, I took loads of lights with me and all of our cards, Santa posters, the lot, the apartment was really festive
