http://www.malaga-weather.com/article.28.html
(Ryanair schedules its flights to take 2 hours 55 minutes from Stansted but the actual 'in air' time is no more than 2½ hours)
Malta is quite a bit warmer

but, as you say, the flights are bit longer, but not much. (Ryanair schedules flights from Luton to take 3 hours 10 minutes out, and 3 hours 20 minutes back, which means a bit under 3 hours actually in the air).
Here's a weather summary for Lanzarote:
http://www.world-weat...her-in-lanzarote.html
(Ryanair schedules flights from Stansted to take 3 hours 15 minutes each way)
May is a good time to visit Morocco:
http://www.morocco-tr.../TemperaturesWeather/
(Click the 'Centigrade' button if you don't like Fahrenheit!)
(Ryanair schedules flights from Stansted to Marrakesh at 2 hours 35 minutes out, 2 hours 40 minutes back).
However I don't know what the medical provision is like in Morocco!

I plead guilty to a typing error re Lanzarote. It should, indeed, have been 4 hours 15 mins.
However, here's where I got my flight times for Malaga from. (Ryanair's own web page):

As I indicated in my post, Ryanair deliberately extend advertised flight durations (in order to be able to show more 'on time' flights than their rivals) so the actual 'in air' time is always quite a bit less than shown in their schedules.
