I'm sure there will be lots of people of the female persuasion along to advise but won't you be a bit uncomfortable at 8 months pregnant in hot weather?
Portugal tends to get breezy because of its Atlantic coastline. Mediterranean resorts can get better weather. Here's a summary for the Costa del Sol area:
http://www.malaga-weather.com/article.28.html
(Ryanair schedules its flights to take 2 hours 55 minutes from Stansted but the actual 'in air' time is no more than 2½ hours)

Malta is quite a bit warmer
http://www.holidays-m...lta_pages/weather.htm
but, as you say, the flights are bit longer, but not much. (Ryanair schedules flights from Luton to take 3 hours 10 minutes out, and 3 hours 20 minutes back, which means a bit under 3 hours actually in the air).

Here's a weather summary for Lanzarote:
http://www.world-weat...her-in-lanzarote.html
(Ryanair schedules flights from Stansted to take 3 hours 15 minutes each way)

May is a good time to visit Morocco:
http://www.morocco-tr.../TemperaturesWeather/
(Click the 'Centigrade' button if you don't like Fahrenheit!)
(Ryanair schedules flights from Stansted to Marrakesh at 2 hours 35 minutes out, 2 hours 40 minutes back).
However I don't know what the medical provision is like in Morocco!
Hi, Mallorca is usually nice at this time of year and only a 2 hour flight from most of uk. I am going again in early June and the temp is usually in the high 20s centigrade with lots of sunshine.

Yes it's usually nice at that time of year. Hot but not too hot and not so crowded.

we went to menorca in june just gone and weather was awful for about 7 out of the 10 days we were there!i like mallorca too and great short flight! thanks for all your anwers..!
Chuck didn't say it took 2 hrs 55mins......read his post carefully. And as for the ,ether j in the Spanish alphabet.....http://spanish.about.com/cs/forb
eginners/a/beg_alphabet.htm
no J in the Spanish alphabet? That's bad news for King Juan Carlos
I plead guilty to a typing error re Lanzarote. It should, indeed, have been 4 hours 15 mins.

However, here's where I got my flight times for Malaga from. (Ryanair's own web page):

As I indicated in my post, Ryanair deliberately extend advertised flight durations (in order to be able to show more 'on time' flights than their rivals) so the actual 'in air' time is always quite a bit less than shown in their schedules.
All airlines "overextend" their flight times. That`s not necessarily to show on time arrivals but because the flight time starts at push-back and about 20 mins (min) taxi time is taken into account.
We were in Menorca around early to mid June a couple of years back and it was very warm then it's a about a two and a half hour flight from Glasgow and it's a lovely island
Canaries are four hours plus from London, which is quite a long flight. Malta's a bit over three, I think. Balearics or Tunisia ought to be good and warm and reasonably close.
