just wondered who people have as next of kin. My last passport had my mum and older sis. Just had renewal and wonder whether i should put my boyfriend instead of sis.

No, don't put your boyfriend - boyfriends change but your sister will always be your sister. I recommend you put your mum and older sister, but write them in in pencil so you can change them if one of them dies or moves away etc.
