I have Saturday to myself and fancy a day of indulgence.

Should I go to Bath or Brighton?

I have a very unpleasant aroma of Chanel No5 around me at the moment, Bath might be the answer!

I like Bath but am a bit bit bored with it. I'm out of touch with Brighton but not sure I want to re acquaint myself. How to choose???
Or Bognor ... there's a Butlins there !!!

JJ, give me a little credit.
Bath?
Nice to look at but over-priced for just about everything there.

Brighton:
Totally wonderful (even at this time of the year). A vast range of restaurants and bars (so you'll always be able to find something to meet your taste and budget), with some great shopping around North Laine.

Plus there's always something going on in Brighton. Here's the events listing for Saturday:

I <3 bristol x
Bristol, definitely!
We visited Brighton for the first time last year and were so bowled over by it we can't wait to go back. It seems to have something for everyone and more importantly a really friendly atmosphere.
If you go to Brighton, I'll come, I'm overdue a visit.
Brighton..great fun ..bracing air, The Lanes...fish and chips..and JJ can take you to all the bits that tourists don't see..
Brighton, go an annoy JJ, she loves the tourists so much,
btw JJ was that you on Brighton prom yesterday, there were two lycra black clad women, joggers i reckon, nattering over coffee, in the only cafe open near to the big wheel?
one of the women was a Yoko Ono lookalike, the other blonde and pretty what i could see of her..
Misread your question - thought it said "fancy dress day of indulgence".
I was thinking "well you probably don't want to go anywhere you'll be recognised"
Jane Austen (a candidate for the best novelist Britain ever had) went to Bath.

George IV (a candidate for the worst king Britain ever had) went to Brighton.

Which would you more like to meet?
Brighton tip for tomorrow ... (when you correctly choose to come to Brighton)

From the Lanes, go across North Street (walking away from the sea), and head up a road called Bond Street.

Walk all the way up Bond Street. Keep going until you come to the end of the road, and there's a big guitar shop in front of you. Turn right, and then left, so you are still going in the same direction.

That takes you to the most wonderful little shopping area, and a fantastic pub called The White Rabbit. Good stop for a lunch time drink. You should go into the beer garden to see the big chair (you'll see what I mean if you actually go there!).

Honestly ... once you've taken a walk up there, you'll be looking in estate agents windows!
Take a Bath first then visit Brighton ! Problem solved :-)) lol
well, i think it's unlikely Ec will meet either
