Getting to Istanbul - Urgent

Hi folks, I have to go to Istanbul on a business trip next week and if possible would like to go to the champions league final. Now I realise this may not be realistic. I am based in Dublin. All of the usual operators have no flights available, does anybody have any brainwaves as to how I can get there at this late stage and also, what are the chances of me getting a ticket to the footy?

A ticket to the final? Not unless you've a LOT of money you want to spend. I'm a season ticket holder at Anfield and I don't qualify for a ticket (didn't go to enough qualifying rounds), so I don't think so!

I have a ticket for the match, but cant get there sensibly.....all the realistic cheap flights have been taken, I've tried to fly to Hungary than on to Romania then get a hire car.....I've even tried a train route (32 Hours!!!) or bus from Sofia (21 Hours).....it is sad that you can get a ticket for 50 euros then have to spend a further 1500 euros getting there....... I have looked at taking a weeks holiday, but that just seems ridiculus for 90mins of football....if any fans read this I could do with some sensible suggestions please......

Well Fatman Swiss you could always give me the ticket.......Either that or try here  I picked up the leaflet when I was at Anfield last weekend.
