Long distance disabled flying
My wheelchair using mother would like to attend a wedding on the west coast of Canada, a flight of about 11 hours. She can only walk a few steps, cannot stay sitting for long periods, and needs to visit the loo every one and a half to two hours. She could not stand in a loo queue.
She does not think the trip will be possible, but you may know differently! Are there disabled accessable loos on any planes? Is there any way she could stretch her legs/change her position/lie down? Is it possible for her (simple) needs to be met without her being the cabaret for rows of bored passengers?
Thanks in advance for any useful suggestions.
