Tips for Vienna
I've been all over Europe, but at ** years of age I am about to go to Austria for the very first time. Any tips as to what to squeeze in to a short space of time. Preferably cultural tips, museums, old churches, (I know, a hypocritical atheist), buildings of note, good restaurants, that sort of thing.
All help greatly appreciated.

I can only say the stuff they recommend in guidebooks is all good. My favourite is going to see the Klimts (they've had to give one or two back as war loot, but there are still lots in the main gallery.) It's his 150th anniversary this year, so he'll be all over town

Your hotel is near the underground station Rossauer Lände, which gives you access to the line U4. I would recommend a runabout ticket for public transport. 24hrs for €6,70, 48hrs for 11,70, 72hrs for 14,50. With this you can hop on and off all public transport within the city boundaries (tram, bus, train and U). With the U4 you can travel directly to Schönbrunn Palace or Karlsplatz which brings you to the City.
Museums like the Albertina, Natural History, History of Art, etc. are all within walking distance.
