It's a very cultural city so there ARE lots of galleries etc (which don't interest you!) but there are some beautiful locations not far outside the city, if you fancy a trip out. It's years since I lived there, so much has no doubt changed!
Go to Sauchiehall Street, then up Rose Street (a steep climb), turn left at the top and keep heading westward on foot, and you'll see plenty of examples of different architectural styles.
As you pass Renfrew St you can visit the CRM museum as Gavmacp suggests.
I am endlessly fascinated by the Architecture on display. You don't have to go looking for it, it is all around you.
Glasgow Art Gallery is sooooo much more than a collection of 'paintings on the wall'.
The Willow Tea-rooms in Sauchiehall Street is a stunning example of CRMs work.
