Stratford Int and Stratford station
I need to change trains, getting off at Stratford International and on again at (old) Stratford Station.
Is it just a case of walking thorough Westfield Shopping centre? Is it easy to find and how long would you leave between trains.

It really is very simple - when you come through barrier off Stratford Intl turn right and then out of station - nice toilets on the way which are very useful! - cross over to Westfield shopping area which is straight across way - and you enter re a food area and as food shops finish turn left and into main shopping area ie away from Waitrose. Just keep walking...

A branch of the Docklands Light Railway serves both stations, at a 10 minute interval (8 minute in the peaks). Whether, over such a short distance, this is quicker than walking, I don't know; it might depend on the service you are taking from Stratford. Try the TfL journey planner, this will show maps.
If you've got a through train ticket any necessary cross-London travel (by either Underground or DLR) should be automatically included, so there would be no need to purchase a separate ticket for the DLR journey.
Look for a † symbol on your rail ticket; that shows that it's valid for cross-London travel.

The National Rail website recognises the walk through the Westfield shopping centre as a valid way of connecting. Quote:
"Please note there is no train service between Stratford and Stratford International. Passengers are advised to either walk through the Westfield shopping centre (access is available through the Lower Ground Floor), or use Docklands Light Railway services."

Just keep walking straight on to the end and you can see the entrance to the main Stratford station. Usually someone round at the barriers to advise which platform you need. Depends how fast you walk - probably takes between 10 and 15 minutes.
No you cant get lost......as you enter Westfield from Stratford Intl there is a nice real ale pub there called Tap East which is why we know the area so well!!! As you walk through the shopping centre there are areas selling drinks and cookies, that sort of thing and in the middle is a large food area with the usual culprits MacD's, Harry Ramsdens, Sunway but it gets very busy. M&S food Hall just near entrance to main station if you need to get a sandwich or drink. Also a coffee shop there. Not a lot when you get into main station.
