Seem to recall its quite nice (isn't it v close to Windsor?). Got a bit of a historical/posh feel to it. Not sure what there is to do there though apart from Windsor Castle.

well i'm not sure i need all that much stuff to do - it'll mainly be about shagging and sleeping in
It`s years since I`ve been out in Eton but as far as I remember, you only have to walk over the bridge and you are in Windsor. Yes, it is quite nice.
Eton is effectively part of Windsor.

This might help:

If that is what you are going to do bednobs you might as well find a good hotel locally and hang a 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door. You could get room service to bring you something to eat now and then.
Yes its very nice in Eton and as the others have explained, its a very short walk into Windsor. If its just about shagging and sleeping in then why worry? But if you do venture out there are lovely walks along the Thames; boat trips a plenty; the castle to visit and plenty of lovely restaurants and gastro pubs.

Of course its quite an expensive area so don't expect to bargains or cheap meal deals unless you're very canny.

well, i am in berkshire, so i suppose it could be classed as local. I want to be far enough away so i don't feel tempted to come back and see if they are all alright, but not so far i couldn't come back quickly in an emergency
Question Author
actually i'll amend that to shagging, sleeping and eating :) 3 of my favourite things
bednobs.....i have never imagined you to be the "shagging type"....more of a "love making type"....you have gone even further up in an already high estimation of you. Congratulations.

Yepp....never denied it.........and proud of it ^
What sort of things are you interested in? Things to do in the day or night life? We`ve got a really good forum at work. I could ask on there (I`m sure there must be people from that area who could give you some answers)
awwww....I still love ya squiddly :0)

you made me snort beer up my nose then.. I am somewhat alarmed that you imagine my shagging type at all sqaddie.
LOL bednobs...I think you can do all of those things pretty much anywhere....but don't pay a lot for it
Question Author
23 ... daytime i think - probably something to do after we check in, but before the oh la la commences
So do you want to do things in Eton or Windsor and what time of year is it?
Lovely place to spend a couple of days. Walks by the river, good places to eat. Interesting shops to browse (but of course expensive). Walk across to Windsor, history, architecture. You are not obliged to spend a fortune.
