Delta Airlines, Connecting Flight In Atlanta From Dublin
Hi,
Im a bit confused about my connecting flight to Charlotte, NC from Atlanta, USA. i fly out of Dublin airport, Ireland on 16th feb AT 8.40AM and arrive in Atlanta around 2pm with a 2hour 15min stop over.
I tried to print my tickets but it seems I have to wait and print within 24hours of my flight. If I print my ticket around noon on the 15th, does my connecting flight ticket be along with my first flight one or do I have to print this one within 24hours as well?
I'll be on my way to Atlanta and dont know how id get it at airport which is why im confused.
I also read somewhere that you can't print more than one flight ticket within 24hours until your previous flight has landed.
Starting to panic as I've never flown to USA before.
Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you

If it's all with Delta then you'll be able to print all the outgoing boarding passes before you travel. In fact when you check your bags in, they'll not be too bothered about them, they'll give you proper boarding passes there. If I interpret your question correctly, nicki, then just print all of your boarding passes (not tickets, by the way) at the same time. That time, for almost all of our (I'm in the U.S.) airline websites is restricted (as you've said) to within 24 hours of departure, but that's for the original flight. All associated departures for the originating flight will allow you to print the gate passes.
This same check-in method allows you to pay for your checked baggage fees as well unless you've already taken care of that issue.

Remember, that at Atlanta you'll have to go through immigration, collect your luggage and go through Customs, you'll then see a place to hand it back over to Delta, it works very well. Atlanta is huge you'll probably have to change terminals by train, again it's pretty easy.
If you buy Duty Free bottles etc airside at Dublin, you wont be able to take them through security at Atlanta, but before you recheck your luggage you can put them in if you want to risk it.
