Hi all - any recommendations for 4 people and one dog either cottage ,apartment or whatever self catering for a week

Would like somewhere with a pub nearby and shops & places to visit Thanks

Dogs are welcome, there are 2 pubs nearby (The Crown and the Hope & Anchor) and a village shop. It looks to be a good base for touring South Lakeland.
