Just a question! I think I should be ok to take my disposable contact lenses on the plane in my hand luggage! Has any one else encountered any thing different? Thanks in advance! X

Yes, you can have residual contact lens liquid.
contact lenses are not the problem and have never been a problem with me for the past 30 years. However, since 2001 it is the lens consentrates that are the problem and you can not take any liquid over 3 oz on the plane so you must treat it like you would any other liquids and fit it into your clear bag in order to get through the security check point.
