What would you do with 6 hours in Newcastle? And please, no sarcastic answers about leaving asap and going somewhere else for 5.5 hours ..... I happen to think it looks an interesting city!!

Climb to the top of the Castle Keep and take in the view. Walk along the Quayside and cross the blinking eye Gateshead Millennium Bridge. I enjoyed the Discovery Museum, or how about a matinee at the Theatre Royal?
When is your 6 hours by the way?
well, never having been there - i would find the nearest tourist information office, and research what the city might offer in terms of interesting sights

and then go & see them
Just noticed that Thetare Royal Newcastle has Woman in Black on this coming week. I recommend it if you haven't seen it and time allows. Its just under 2 hours.
