Quick Trip Abroad?
I am trying to find a quick and cheap holiday to somewhere warmer than here! I was thinking Greece/Spain/Italy but have never been to these countries. Does anyone have any advice- good places, airlines, times of year to go or avoid, hotels etc? THANKS

On several occassions we've gone away for long weekends/midweek breaks, usually we want sunshine, not too expensive and within 21/2 (two and a half) flying hours. I phone Dial-a-flight, headoffice is Croydon and they are on the net. They usually have some good ideas on flight, hotel deals and some of their reps have been to the places so have 1st hand experience, we've never been let down yet.

be careful if you want to go right now, central-southern Europe has been having horrible weather lately - from snow in the Alps to floods in Algeria.
Not sure about Greece as there is still some social turmoil going on there; but you could do worse than head for one of the Aegean islands and collapse in the sun. Turkey's lovely too.
Depends what you want to do, just sit by a pool/sea, shop, see sights, history, etc.

Just go with what you fancy. Five years ago we did the same, and picked a hotel in Italy (it was slightly dearer than other holidays in Greece and Spain - but then I realised that that was because it was half board - the others were self catering). We had a fantastic time and went back for the next three years!
