No, sorry i don't iron at home, so try not to on holiday!
Yes I have used a Morphy Richards one ..........

Yes I had one. It was very good. I bought it at Gatwick a million years ago but on one holiday I forgot to bring it back with me so it's now languishing somewhere on a remote Greek island.... wish I were !
yep, great little things coz they dont need boards.
Always take one away with us. One thing I would say is be careful if you get one with folding handle as it can get broken in transit as I found out last year. Argos do two and the one without folding handle is also lighter which is good for airline travel. They also used to sell a mat to go with it so you didn't need to put a towel under your stuff.
The iron I take on holiday is a Asda Smartprice steam iron. It is bigger than a travel iron, so easier ironing and doesn't weigh as much as my travel iron does. Plus it only cost £3.48 !!!

Thanks guys
If you were thinking of taking an iron and staying in an hotel, don't bother. Any half-decent hotel will lend you an iron. I never pack anything apart from the absolute basic essentials, especially if I am going to have to lift a suitcase.
