You *must* pre-book your suitcase when you book the ticket - very expensive if you leave it until the airport.
You may only take one piece of hand luggage - your handbag and other bits & bobs must go inside the hand luggage.
Ryanair are not scary - you just need to follow the rules. Ask again for any other info - I think they are great.

Most low cost airline charge extra for checked in baggage, we made the mistke recently with Thomas Cook of not clicking for checked in baggage on the return leg, and got charged 72 euros for our error.
If you havent used them before, you can only take one item of handbaggage on board, I always tuck my handbag into my handluggage before boarding.
Hope you have a great holiday

As others have said, there are things you need to do to organise the trip, and one reason ryanair is less expensive to travel with is that you, not them, do these bits and bobs.
However, I suggest as well as all the excellent advice above, you equip yourself mentally to expect a problem. I have flown with them many times and rarely is it simple. Do not become annoyed or upset if a piece of paperwork is awry, simply smile, ask for help and stump up any payment, as you are still likely to be getting a good price for the overall flight. And enjoy Limoges!

If you already have travel insurance and don't wish to buy it from Ryanair be careful to click 'travel without insurance' in the drop down box. This is strategically placed at the bottom of a long list of nationalities in the hope that you won't see it. Also use a pc or laptop as the drop down box doesn't seem to appear on a tablet.
A lot of people are very nervous to book online if it is their first time - as you think Gawd hope I haven't hit the wrong button - if it is your first I would very much suggest getting help with somebody who would be more "au fait" booking tickets online as they can be nightmare for the first-time booker.
