I don't think there is a limit?? Was there 3 weeks ago, and had no issues

Do you have a bank account with an ATM card? Then unless you have your own reason to take cash just withdraw from the ATMs in Sweden. It will have instructions in English. Otherwise I think as we are both EU members the amount of cash you can export/import is virtually unlimited.
