cuba!!!

I am going to Cuba in November, but cannot decide which resort to go to ( they all look great!!)  I am stuck between Varadero and Guardalavaca.  Which is best?

i lived there for 7 months....definatley go to Varadero. Beaches and hotels are 100% better! have fun!!!

Hi Wolrab - went to Varadero on honeymoon (Sandals) - the beach is glorious (beautiful sands and clear sea) but the only thing I would say is that it is a typical "resort" not very Cuba at all so if you are looking for the "real" Cuba head to Havanna - wished we had stayed there for a couple of nights as it gives you a real flavour of the country
