I've a few package holidays on my short list for next summer, But every time I check on-line, the price fluctuates.

I've never booked this far in advance before, but I don't want to risk leaving it until the last minute in case I find they're fully booked.

Has anyone any idea of when, in between now and then that they're likely to be at their lowest?

TIA ..

depends when they're for and how well they're selling. If you need to take them in school holiday time, better book sooner rather than later as these do fill up. But I wouldn't have thought it necessary to book a whole year ahead; who kow's what you'll be up to by next February?. They'll probably only take a small deposit from you though.
If it's what you want and think it's a good price just go ahead and book it. Then do not look up the price any more and look forward to enjoying your holiday.

Prices fluctuate for various reasons and nobody can forecast whether they are likely to go up or down. If you're happy with the price just go for it. Life's too short.

Jno and new judge, It's for the last 2 weeks in May, or there abouts.

I was happy with the prices and was going to pick one and book it in a few weeks time. but over Friday night the prices shot up by £100 to £200 each.
They've come down a little bit but I'm hoping they'll get back to where they were. Thank you both for your replies..

We've just returned from a weeks holiday we booked five days before leaving but got no discount on the price. The Agent (Thomas Cook) said if you want a decent hotel in a place you'd set your heart on then it would be better to book early to be sure you got the hotel you wanted. If you're not that bothered where you go, standard of hotel and are flexible within a couple of weeks, then wait until June to see what offers are available.
Sorry Arwynn our posts crossed -see you are going in may 14 -i would tend to get booked up before Xmas.

Lesliy, thanks for that link, we didn't want to go that far, but its kind of you to put it up.

themorrigan, We are fussy and I spent ages making a short list :) so thanks for your advice, I think I better just get booked up.
Question Author
themorrigan, that's what I was hoping for, that the price would drop at Christmas. But it's a risk that they'll be full.

I'll keep watching the price for a few weeks.

Thank you everyone xx
