I like Ryanair.....what you read is what you get and I like the type of businessman Mr O'Leary is....no waffle...take it or leave it...completely up front.
I have never had a problem flying with them except when MrG died just before a trip and they were the easiest people of all I had to deal with.
A refund...after the time I should have told them he was dead.... and no questions asked.
Read the terms and conditions and it's a doddle...even for me...and as Chris says...a sense of humour which always gets Brownie points from me...x

That's exactly why I admire him so much! Any businessman who actually cares one iota about either his staff or his customers has no right to be in business. PROFIT is what matters and absolutely NOTHING else should be allowed to get in the way of it!!!

If he thinks that about his staff he is not worthy of loyalty, without his / her staff the company would not exist Buenchio!
they are not cheap, and have just ladled on some more charges i believe,
Be aware that if you refuse to pay some of their charges the staff may insist you use the outside toilet.

mushroom, one of their best sketches.
cutting holes in the floor so the passengers can run down the runway like the flintstones lol
I have used Ryan Air in the past and Apart from the beer being warm and only one flavour of Pringles available I have no objections.

It is a WYSIWYG airline, completely transparent and not ashamed to admit it. I don't travel much in Europe and when I do I often find full service airlines offer a close or better deal.
it's as transparent as it is forced to be... in days gone by you'd fly to Frankfurt and find yourself somewhere near Luxembourg because they hadn't been transparent enough to tell you which Frankfurt they went to. They give you the information the EU makes them, that's all.
i wouldn't fly with them again..
If you think of a Ryan Air flight in terms of (say) a bus journey rather than a leisure cruise then they make sense.
Basic transport from A to B.
I have no choice but to fly with them going back to Ireland. Never had a problem. I wouldn't want to fly with them long haul.
is that one where the bus conductor charges you for luggage, hand or hold, and indeed whether you actually want to breathe, seeing as how the seats aren't exactly jumbo size.
Never had a problem other than they cancelled the flight I was booked on and put us on the next day, when we needed to be where we were going. Simple job to rebook the previous day. You get what you pay for.
Michael O'Leary is a disgrace to his country. He sends out absolutely the wrong signals about Irish people. His so-called "honesty" only makes his hypocrisy greater. I would gladly organise a boycott of his money-making-machine. And no - the final cost is NOT akways cheaper. I can vouch for that. People mean nothing to this man. Please know that "real" Irish people are not like this. Don't use his company if you care about decency.
