Just booked a ferry crossing, overnight Portsmouth to Le Havre on 30 January, £32.13. Cheaper than Dover to Calais, and 100 miles off my journey. Well pleased.

Well done. We all love a bargain! I'm off for 3 nights to Berlin in February for £195, that's the flight, luggage and 4 * hotel with spa!

there are some cheap deals to the Algarve here... not all that close to Berlin but warmer (well, you'd hope so)

Blue Toffee - you have to get in quick! I booked the flights through Easyjet, as soon as they came out, which is 11 months before you want to go. Then I found a deal on the hotels own website if you book well in advance and pay up front. The hotel is Hotel California, this may be where the drawback is. I may check out, but will I ever leave? lol!
