Help needed desperately!!

My boyfriend went on holiday to Malia on Friday and is back this friday. Im going to be at his house as a surprise on friday night for when he gets home. But I need to know what kind of time i have to get there. He didnt book the holdiay so there is not flight info at his house that i could maybe ask his mum to find out for me.

He went to Kavos in Corfu. Which airport do you think he would have gone to? If I know that, I can check timetables and find out a rough time that he would be back. He flew out there at midnight, so would it be around that time that he would come back do you think or a bit earlier or later? Thanks for any help!!

Alixw you dont say what airport he flew from or where he lives from that airport, it would be really difficult to work it out without that info !!!!

I think there could be something more sinister here. Malia is in Crete and therefore he'd be coming back from Heraklion airport. However, you then mention Kavos in Corfu, in which case he'd be coming back from Corfu airport. You should try and be sure where he has been, to ensure you get it right. Could he have been telling you a fib? Once you are sure, call the airport and check what flights are due in from those airports and when. For both these destinations, the flights tend to be at the cheaper times for the airlines - ie late at night or early morning. I only wish my partner would do something like this sometime - or even let me go away to Malia or Kavos without her!

What is wrong with me!? I meant that he has gone to kavos in Corfu. I got mixed up with malia becuase that's where i am going in a few weeks!!!

AllYourBase - why doesn't your partner let you go away with your friends? I could never stop my boyfriend going on holiday and he would never stop me. I dont have the right to stop him going on holiday! yeah i miss him when he goes and obviously would prefer him to be at home with me than on holiday with all his SINGLE friends, but who am i to stop him. I say if you want to go away then go, you'll only end up resenting her later on!! And if she trusts you then there should be no problem with her letting you go!!

So your boyfriend hasn't told you where he flew from or what time he arrives back! Mm do you really think he wants you waiting for him when he gets back!! He seems to have made sure you won't be waiting for him at the airport!!

Hi Alixw, the only airport on Corfu is called Corfu airport (or the Greek word for Corfu which is Keri-something or other!)  I have two suggestions, the first being check teletext or the internet, the second, perhaps you could go to your friendly local travel agent (perhaps the one you booked your holiday through) and ask them if they could spare you 5 minutes to check Gatwick arrivals from Corfu on Friday. Corfu is a very busy airport at this time of the year, so there might be a few options - good luck!
