No, I haven't, TWR, but personally I wouldn't want to stay in Las Americas - it's far too nightclubby and loud/busy for us.

Yes, I know the area Boxy, we have stopped there very often, the last time was in May, we stopped at the Bitacora, we intend to surprise some friends of our's are going there for Xmas, we don't find the area noisy at all, xx

That's OK then, TWR - we wouldn't want to stop somewhere with a nasty surprise about its liveliness!

People's views on hotels will differ, depending on the type of group. If you're a family and you go to a hotel geared for 18-30 ... you're going to give it a bad review; but if you're a young person, you'll prob give it a big thumbs up .... so what kind of group will you be in when you go on holiday ??
I've been to Tenerife quite a few times, the ones I remember I've been to are:
Parque Santiago (Los Cristianos/Las Americas) .... out of the 5 different complexes I can't remember which one it was;
Ponderosa (Las Americas);
Parque De Las Americas (Las Americas);
Laguna Park II (Costa Adeje);
Isla Bonita (Costa Adeje).

The only noise you are likely to get is from the traffic. This hotel/apartment is on the junction of 2 main roads.
