Taxi From Watford Junction

Bit of a random question, but does anyone know how much a taxi would cost from Watford Junction to the Premier Inn at Watford North?

The hotel's website says it's a 3 mile journey but the AA route planner only makes it 2.3 miles. I'd expect that to cost around £8 in most towns, so a tenner (to include a tip) should cover it.

Alternatively, the nearest station to the hotel is actually Garston. (Trains run every 45 minutes from Watford Junction). It's then a fairly short walk. (Perhaps 7 or 8 minutes).
