Has anyone on this site actually stayed at this hotel. I would like a true review. I really don't trust the review sites. Thanks.

Why don't you trust sites like Tripadvisor? They are realy people leaving those reviews. I do it myself, I left feedback on several locations on Tripadvisor recently.

Thanks for replying boxtops, but I have read so-called holiday reviews about other places I have stayed at and the reviews have not matched up to the actual hotels ! This is why I prefer more personal and individual accounts.
OK. What's on Tripadvisor IS my personal and individual account, so I really don't see the difference. What I'd tell you on here is what I'd put on TA.....

Unfortunately not all people (or companies !!!!!) are truthful ! They are just trying to get you to stay there ......
Have you stayed at the Jaime 1 ?
Question Author
ps ..... I am not interested in a debate about TA. Thanks.
The only way that a review can find its way onto the Booking.com website is if someone has stayed at the hotel (having booked through Booking.com). A few days after their stay they're emailed with an invitation to submit a review. (The link provided is specific to that email. Other people can't use it to submit further reviews).

So if you click on 'See all reviews' (at the top right of the page) here you should only find genuine reviews:

As someone who has submitted quite a few reviews to the Booking.com website, in relation to some of the dumps I've been booked into (using Booking.com) by the firm that I sometimes work for, I can assure you that bad reviews don't get removed!
I have left reviews on TripAdvisor and in return I have labels to stick on their window/door to say that a review has been made on the Hotel/facilties etc. I haven't been biased at all. It is all a matter of personal taste.
