domestic flight which is quite pricey.
by car, driving down the day before and getting a hotel for the night with parking included.
or by train to Euston (cheapest option) and Titan have a hotel for £37 a night.at the airport.
National Express no use to Victoria as the times are not suitable.
No lack of ways .

tricky to evaluate these things.
Pluses: it takes a lot of hassle off your hands; it's included "free" (though you'd need to compare other operators' prices to see if it really is or not).
Minuses: it may be at a time you don't want to travel, and it may be uncomfortable (though my guess is it will be okay; these companies don't want your first/last memories to be unpleasant ones); you may be expected to tip the driver, I don't know.
Your call, really. Sorry, haven't travelled with them myself.

We have been on lots of Titan holidays, kloof. Their door to door service is fantastic. They pick you up in a luxury people carrier with proper seats. Last time we went with them there were a couple in the vehicle who had come from Chesterfield.
Believe me, you will be travelling in style. It's lovely, when you get back from your holiday, to know that you are going tobe dropped off at home.
They are a brilliant travel company.

Make your own way to Gatwick by whatever method suits you best and stay overnight in the Premier Inn at Gatwick North (make sure you book the right one as there is another a little way from the airport).
You can get a room for about £50 or about £100 with a week's parking, £125 for a fortnight. The hotel is across the road from the entrance to the terminal.
It seems a bit pricey but believe me it is money well spent. There is nothing worse than trundling round the M25 hoping there will be no jams/accidents/breakdowns etc to make you miss your flight. If your flight is at 07:45 you will need to be there by 5am and that means (I should think) a midnight departure from Cheshire. You will be knackered by the time you reach your holiday destination and the first day of your holiday will be a dead loss. Treat yourselves to a night in the Premier Inn (there is a nice bar and restaurant) and start your holiday relaxed and refreshed. I use the Premier Inn whenever I fly from Gatwick now (first used it a couple of winters ago when we were snowed in).

thank you all for your imput, has helped me a lot.
And Tiily 2,you have had first hand experience,so "straight from the horses mouth"...really reassured me.I myself am not going,it is a surprise present for my hubby.Titan`s latest brochure came in the post this last week and there is a tour "The Way of St James"Paradors and Pilgrims.,he was very taken up with it ,especially as it will be passing through his home town near Pamplona, yes,he is Spanish)..so the children and I are going to put the documents in a HUGE box at Xmas ,will be his pressie.WE all love doing surprises!!!
I do not like coach travel and it is of no interest to me anyway...I will probably go to Bilbao,Spain to see our eldest daughter who still lives there, the rest of us came to the UK from there 20 years back now,...I have come a long way since Cape Town,my home land.
Anyway,I was a bit worried bout the Titan door to door but am not now,so thank you all.

I have travelled with Titan many times, door to door, it will be a people carrier- very comfortable. You will not travel overnight - if the flight is very early they will book you into a hotel near the airport at a reasonable charge. Titan look after you extremely well. Where are you going? You will have a wonderful time -- tiring no doubt but wonderful!
