Hmmm ,think Caribbean can be a bit choppy in September. Will take a closer look though.

I'm not keen on going to the US. Although a dive safari down the Keys does have its appeal.

Maldives not overly interesting for me. Never thought of the Canaries as a dive location, will investigate although closer to home than I was considering.

September is peak hurricane season in Florida, although they're predicting a mild one this year.

I must admit I've never thought of the Canaries being known for good diving, it's the rolling Atlantic.

I'd expect Eccles wants to see pretty fish and colourful plants and corals though!
Have you looked at Mauritius, slightly longer flight (no idea of weather in Sept though)

September in Mauritius can be almost as exciting as September in Sheerness!

Hmmm, Oman could cut the mustard. Need to look at dive sites, any recommendations?

Seychelles has never interested me, every time I look at destinations I fear I'm going to be surrounded by loved up honeymooners!
