Hotels Near Auckland Airport

We are visiting our son in New Zealand shortly and arrive at the airport at an early hour in the morning, can anyone suggest a hotel near that is very near the airport. Thanks.

the airport's some miles from town (unlike Wellington's); so yes, if your son can't pick you up, stay within the perimeter and sleep off some of the jet lag. The Novotel's closer.

When we did this trip, and were faced with the same problem of international flights arriving about four in the morning, we caught the airport coach into the middle of Auckland, where there are more than a dozen largish chain hotels within a couple of hundred metres of the disinformation point.
We were staying a few nights in Auckland itself, but the hotels are used to punters requesting this arrangement. It may suit, and the coach is cheap and pre-bookable.
