going to Cyprus in March and hiring a car can anyone recommend a good up to date road map of Cyprus

Watch the speed limits, they enforce them quite rigidly.

Try your local library, ours is very good for maps etc.

Watch out for the Cypriots, they are terrible drivers, everywhere you go, you will have a 4x4 up your backside, and they hate traffic lights.

Last time I was there I just used the one that came with the hire car. It wasn`t brilliant but it got me around. I don`t agree that the Cypriots are terrible drivers though - I thought they were ok (ever been to India)?

Get a sat nav.

"get a sat nav" You don`t need it. Cyprus is easy to drive around.

You might get map supplied with your hire car

Be careful because depending on what part of Cyprus you go to they have names in Cypriot, Greek and Turkish

If you hire a car in the Greek part of Cyprus the standard insurance will not allow you to drive in the Turkish part. We used the map with the car, but every little shop has a cheap road map and it's very easy to drive around.
