I am going away on Sunday and I always get confused what items I have to pack where.

Firstly, electrical items i.e iron, hairdryer etc .... are these ok in the suitcases or do they have to go in hand luggage.

Secondly, aerosols, shampoos, shaving gel etc ... hand luggage or suitcases?

I would like to put as much as possible in the suitcase but always get confused whether these items have to go in the handluggage or not?

Thanks for any help

Hi Topsie. I think most electrical items are fine in your suitcase. Don't pack anything dangerous/sharp/explosive in your hand luggage because if it is found by customs they will just throw it away. I usually pack cosmetics and shampoos in my hand luggage and wrap them up carefully because they always explode in the air (ever tried applying make-up on a long haul flight.....?)
If you are in doubt just check your airlines website, there is always a page which explains forbidden items and what to pack where. Good luck!

i can recomend that when u do ur packing u do nto put any valubales in ur suitcase and that also includes your keys,  this is also written on ur ticket, if bag does get delayed and u have to call a lock smith out or get a taxi home etc the airline will not pay u out for that situation..

all other items r ok in both hand and hold luggage.
