Thank you!

Still dont know what to pack!!!...........I'm used to August temperatures Spain, Greece, etc.......

Will it be warm enought to swim in the pool? Obviously take jacket for evening etc. Anyone been to Tunisia in early November?

can be unpredictable - usually pleasantly warm but can get nippy if overcast, so take layers.
Not strictly to do with the weather, but remember Tunisia is a muslim country and shorts may not be acceptable everywhere (certainly not if you're female) away from the hotel/beach area.  I've only been to Tunisia in early Spring, and at that time of year the weather is pretty similar to the eastern Med - I'd concur with the advice given by jno.
I went to Tunisia last year at the end of October, it was roasting, we sunbathed all day at the pool in our bikinis and got brilliant tans, the night time was a bit cooler but still fairly warm!  You can wear shorts to go out even if you are a girl, we were told all these things before we went about having to cover up, but it has now changed there and it doesnt matter what you wear. We stayed in Monastair and we had a brillian holiday.

Thanks Tillymint.........strange...........that's what my Dad used to call my Mum.......Tillymint.

That's just the answer I needed. I was worrying it wouldn't be warm enough to swim.

Narolines is right, though... just because they don't throw stones at you doesn't mean they like you dressing scantily. It's still respectful to cover up some. There's quite enough anger in Muslim countries at western habits already.
