I'm going to Dublin in November with a group of friends. What are the best things to do over there? Heard the guiness factory is supposed to be worth a visit? Anything to avoid?! Dont want to waste the time we have!!

The bus tour which involves the splash into the river Liffey.  Its ok it floats.  Dublinia.  Judge Roy Beans on Dawson St. is a good mexican restaurant.  Temple Bar for night life and restaurants.  Shopping on Grafton St. and Henry St.
trinity college  has a conducted tour and interesting and book of kells there  the two cathedals worth a visit

You could go on a bus tour of the city.  You buy your ticket and it takes you around all the sites.  You can get off and visit somewhere then just hop back on the next bus to continue the tour.

I can recommend the open topped bus tour as a great hangover cure.  A group of us went last October and on the Sunday morning, after a heavy Saturday night out, we went on such a tour.  We sat on the top deck and the wind revived our hangovers.
