The best beaches are in the north and east of the island. It really depends on what else you want from your holiday. Playa de Muro has some lovely beaches and is very family orientated, then you have magaluf and palma nova which have nice beaches but magluf isn't the type of place I would take young children to. Personally I like Santa Ponsa as it has something for everyone, a good beach and it's easy to get to many places on the island from.

1-Seven Mile Beach, (7 miles East of Kyrenia,Cyprus.
2-Five Mile Beach ( 5 miles East of Kyrenia, Cyprus.
3- Gullane Beach, 18 miles East of Edinburgh
Also Barbados has nice beaches.
