Filming in France
Myself and a friend are very interested in producing short films and have recently been planning to set one of these in France. We would like to stay somewhere fairly quaint and typically French with lots of cobbled streets that isn't too far away from either the countryside or city. Any suggestions? Apologies for the vagueness of that question...
We would like to film around christmas time, but that's where another problem enters into the equation - we are both 17 and won't be 18 until after easter. Damn the inconveniences of youth! Is there any way to overcome this that doesn't result in us having to be accompanied by someone aged 18 or over? An added fault of being a student is lack of money so we're working with a fairly small budget and would like to stay somewhere with modest prices (not a hostel!).
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

However Theres glorious places in France to many to go through I wouldn't think any trouble being on your own at 17. and you could find out youth hostels but if Christmas better book soon there are only 81days to birthday. good luck
